De bijlage is weer verminkt.
Open het logbestand ListChkdskResult.txt op je bureaublad met Notepad.
Kopieer en plak de gehele inhoud in je volgend bericht.

Prima nu. CHKDSK heeft wat gerepareerd. Enige verbetering merkbaar ?

De PC opstarten duurt ruim 2 minuten voordat ik iets kan starten. Na 1 minuut zit ik nog steeds naar "Welcome" te kijken.
Word en Excel documenten openen nu wat sneller maar doen er gemiddeld een halve minuut over.
Chrome is nu een beetje sneller maar als ik op een link klik dan denk je dat je niet goed geklikt hebt. Het duurt 15 seconden voordat Chrome geopend wordt en dan duurt het nog 15 seconden voordat de betreffende pagina verschijnt.

Al met al...... ja er is verbetering, maar het is nog niet om te juichen.

Rechtsklik op Start en klik op "Opdrachtprompt (administrator)".
Typ in het zwarte venster CHKDSK C: /F /R en druk op de enter-toets. (let op de spaties!)

Op de vraag "Wilt u dat dit volume wordt gecontroleerd zodra de computer de volgende keer wordt opgestart?" druk op J.
Herstart nu je computer.

Druk tijdens de herstart niet op een toets zodat Schijfcontrole wordt gestart.
Wacht dit geduldig af.
Let op: Laat CHKDSK minstens een paar uur lopen ook al lijkt het alsof er niets gebeurt!

Na de herstart:
Rechtsklik op Start en klik op "Opdrachtprompt (administrator)".
Typ in het zwarte venster SFC /SCANNOW en druk op de enter-toets. (let op de spatie!)

Als dit klaar is maak je een screenshot en upload het naar https://imgdumper.nl.
Post de link die je krijgt in je volgend bericht.

Ik heb een paar keer een herstart gedaan maar laat ik het zo zeggen...... de PC neemt de tijd ervoor. 
Documenten worden aanzienlijk sneller geopend maar Windows en Google Chrome nemen er de tijd voor.

Start Google Chrome.
Klik rechtboven op de 3 puntjes.
Klik op Instellingen.
Klik onderaan de pagina op Geavanceerd.
Onder het kopje Systeem schakel de instelling "Achtergrondapps blijven uitvoeren wanneer Google Chrome is gesloten" uit.
Herstart Chrome.

Geeft dit verbetering mbt Chrome ?

Stap 1:
Herstel de "Google Chrome" instellingen. Hoe je dat doet lees je HIER.

Stap 2:
Sluit alle openstaande programma's.
De-installeer via Configuratiescherm - Programma's en onderdelen:
    Google Chrome
Herstart de computer.

Stap 3:
Download "Google Chrome" via deze link en installeer het.

Enige verbetering nu ?

Hoi Peter, er is nog geen merkbare snelheidswinst dus ik heb even schoon schip gemaakt.
1. Malware bytes verwijdert met REVO uninstaller.
2. Avast uitgeschakeld, Defender ingeschakeld en daarna Avast verwijdert, met REVO.
3. Chrome verwijdert.
PC een aantal keren herstart en gebruik nu even FireFox.

Ik laat je morgen weten hoe of wat. Ik ga nu even TV kijken.

Misschien denk ik te simpel, maar zou een herinstallatie van Windows niet eenvoudiger zijn? Weet je in ieder geval zeker dat de instellingen correct zijn. Volgens mij worden slechte sectoren op de schijf dan ook overgeslagen.. Als alles dan werkt met MiniPartitionTool een één op één kopie maken. Kan je altijd op een eenvoudige wijze terugvallen op een schoon systeem.

Dat is prima.
Als je nog problemen ondervindt voer dan ook eens het volgende uit.
Download avastclear.exe naar je bureaublad.
Herstart de computer in Veilige Mode:
  • Druk tijdens het opstarten van de computer herhaaldelijk op de F8 toets voordat het Windows logo verschijnt.- Er verschijnt nu een zwart scherm met een keuze menu.
  • Selecteer "Opstarten in Veilige modus" en druk op de enter-toets.
  • Windows zal nu verder opstarten. Dit zal wat langer duren.
  • Start op het bureaublad het gedownloade bestand avastclear.exe.
  • Heb je Avast in een ander map geïnstalleerd dan de standaard map, selecteer die dan. (Let op: De inhoud van de geselecteerde map zal verwijderd worden!)
  • Volg de instructies die verschijnen.
Herstart je computer.


@JohnWessels,

Een herinstallatie van Windows brengt allerlei andere problemen met zich mee, zoals het opnieuw installeren en instellen/fine-tunen van geïnstalleerde programma's.

OK. Avastclear.exe heeft zijn werk gedaan en Windows en Chrome zijn nu aanzienlijk sneller. Hulde!
Office en andere software openen nu ook sneller dus ik ben nu een tevreden mens.
Blijft de vraag.... is Defender genoeg, zal ik Avast weer installeren of is er een betere oplossing?
Gaarne advies.
