Hallo, ik heb sinds 4 weken het AVG 8.0 internet security pakket op mijn pc ziten. De firewall van dit programma blokkeerd de start of welkoms pagina van CS.Zet ik de fire wall af ,komt de welkoms pagina wel. Weet iemand hoe ik de firewall van AVG 8.0 moet configireren zodat alles wel normaal werkt? het is best lastig als je mail krijgt met een link,die je dan niet kan openen.Bij de vorige versie AVG 7.5 was dit probleem niet.
Verder haal ik mijn mail binnen met ,of CS of met outlook.Outlook wordt gescand door AVG ,maar CS post niet. Hoe moet ik de mailscanner configureren zodat ook CS post wordt gescand? bij voorbaat dank

Hallo Michel ,hartelijk dank voor je gouden tip. Het was niet helemaal zo ,maar met veel geduld heb ik in ieder geval de homepage vanCS nu wel als ik CS opstart.
Nu nog het probleem ,dat de CS mail niet wordt gescand door AVG,althans de teller verandert niet als ik via CS mail haal,maar wel als ik dit via outlook doe. Misschien heb je hier ook nog een tip over.

Zelf heb ik CS mail nimmer gebruikt, dus ik heb er geen ervaring mee. Zie
HIER de FAQ aangaande e-mail scanning van AVG. Ik maak er uit op, dat als er geen plugin voor een bepaalde client aanwezig is, je de algemene plugin bij installatie moet installeren. Als die al is geïnstalleerd en het werkt niet, dan vrees ik dat de CS client een buitenbeentje is. Maar misschien heeft iemand hier wel praktijervaring met de CS mail client, en komt er nog een andere idee.

AVG installation process. It depends on your e-mail client. If you use an email client for sending/receiving e-mails which has its own plug-in available in
AVG, please install this specialized plug-in in preference:
AVG MS Outlook Extension if you use Microsoft Outlook.
AVG Plugin For The BAT! for The BAT! e-mail client. If you use any other program (Outlook Express, Incredimail, Mozilla etc.), please install the
Personal E-mail Scanner service.[/list]The installation of e-mail plugins should be done following way:
Download the proper installation file:
AVG Anti-Virus 8.0AVG Internet Security 8.0AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall 8.0 Click on the
Download AVG now (paid version). When you are prompted, please do not open this file directly from the Internet, but click the
Save button and choose a location, where the installation file should be stored. We recommend saving the file to the Desktop. Locate the downloaded AVG installation file (it has a four color square icon and its name starts with AVG_...) and launch it by double-click on its icon. Please follow the wizard and select the
Add or remove components option. In the
Component Selection window, please tick the E-mail Scanner plugin(s) you wish to use. Finish the installation wizard and restart your computer.
